Job Description:
This position is for turbomachinery aero-thermal engineer. The engineering services division is seeking an experienced engineer with project management and technical skills that include aerodynamics & thermodynamics design of steam and gas turbines. The successful candidate will design state of the art turbomachines using AxSTREAM suite and will also play a significant role in developing advanced technologies in turbomachinery; execute wide range of turbomachinery projects in different verticals and also work with the customers in understanding the requirements and specifications.
The applicant must possess good understanding of the physics and principles of turbomachinery aerodynamics, strong problem-solving skills, proven track record for technical excellence, practical approach, and excellent communication skills. The applicant should be able to lead and succeed in an integrated project team environment and should be able work under limited direction.
5+ years of turbomachinery flow path design experience with a Master’s in Mechanical / Aerospace /Turbomachinery Engineering is required. Ph.D in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
