We are looking for a Turbomachinery Design Engineer with a strong background in CAD to join our UK-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and designing 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of mechanical components for different types of turbomachinery.
Responsibilities:
- Design 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of mechanical components and products
- Develop and optimize designs that meet specified requirements
- Investigate and resolve product design problems
- Ensure design accuracy and integrity
- Utilize CAD software to generate designs, drawings, and assemblies
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure product success
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Create and maintain documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related science, with at least 5 years of work experience
- Proven experience with CAD software
- Strong practical background in mechanical engineering principles
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adhere to tight deadlines
- Advanced or fluent English level
