Summary of Role
Our Sales & Marketing team is looking for an intern/co-op to assist with Sales and Marketing activities. You will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience as you work closely with the marketing and sales teams on content development, pitch deck creation, data research and organization, and CRM database maintenance. In addition to these tasks, this role will support the SoftInWay EDU program by conducting outreach to universities, assisting with the support of existing partner institutions, arranging meetings, and preparing related documentation. This position will help ensure the smooth operation of the department in reaching both short-term and long-term company goals. This will be a paid 6 month internship, ideally suited for graduating seniors. Flexible scheduling options can be offered during the second half of the internship. Upon successful completion of the program, a permanent position may be offered.
Responsibilities
- Support the marketing manager in organizing and reviewing various projects including company pitch decks and marketing PowerPoints.
- Assist with outreach efforts for SoftInWay’s EDU program, supporting universities within the program, arranging meetings, and preparing relevant materials.
- Maintain, refresh, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the company CRM database (Salesforce)
- Review and edit published materials, presentations, blogs, and website content
- Support the development and execution of sales/marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements and Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s program in Marketing, Business or relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM, mailing and database tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Cognism is a plus
